Needlescopic and Mini Laparoscopic Surgery

Needlescopic  (Mini-laparoscopic) surgery involves using very fine (3mm diameter) laparoscopic instruments for surgery.  These instruments are significantly finer than standard laparoscopic instruments (5-12mm) and robotic instruments (9mm).  Benefits to the patients include less post operative pain and analgesia requirement and superior cosmesis when compared with standard laparoscopic and robotic approaches.
